Job Description & Responsibilities:
• Ideally will have sold technical/industrial products into the Dubai retail market.
• Must be extremely driven and focused.
• Set the Construction Material sales direction including vision, strategy, competitive environment, short and long term needs
• Have the ability and experience in managing a small sales team with tight deadlines
• Proven track record of over-achieving targets and KPIs in relation to generating new business.
• Develops and executes the business plan, to achieve agreed revenue, volume and margin targets for designated products.
• Establishes personal contact with key customers and regularly monitors the handling of large accounts.
• Analyze slow moving and obsolete inventory and find ways to move it around.
• Transfer a clear and correct image about the market situation on monthly basis to the top management to help them take the right decisions on the right.
• Knowledge of international brands (water treatment products, mini excavators etc)
• Knowledge of water technologies (ITT Lowara, ITT Vogel, and Ebara Pumps Europe range)
• Compaq min excavators (SV 08-1, SV100, ViO 17, ViO 45, ViO 55 etc)
• Knowledge of Pneumatic tools and Light compact equipment
• Prepare the annual marketing plan and collect the required market information through different channels.
• Ensures sales plan implementation- tracks, pushes and motivates sales team and team managers, reports & evaluates the progress together with the sales teams and adjusts the plan.
• Ensures sales teams are carrying out sales process within quality procedures.
• Evaluates employees' skill sets to both current and future role requirements and provides retraining or other corrective action as required.
• Conducts quarterly meetings with the marketing department to reflect market feedback and at the same time discuss product business strategies and product knowledge.
• Ability to handle and manage a technical team
Skills
• University degree - from respectable institute - in Mechanical, Civil or Engineering. MBA holder is preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management position at Manufacturing or marketing company working in field of construction chemicals or products.
• Pleasant personality and effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Energetic, Active, and self motivate.
High Management skills and ability to lead a team of professional from different nationalities.
Ability to work under pressure & achieve the targets.
