A military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centre for aircraft maintenance and support services in United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
• Financial modelling as well as forecasting of spending and gross margin.
• Determine applied costs and assist in establishing and utilizing operational metrics.
• Prepare and direct the cost accounting processes, control systems, and gross margin reporting.
• Manage cost accounting which includes inventory valuation, gross margin determination with manufacturing variance and operational spending analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 10 + years of progressive and related accounting experience, of which at least 5 + years of experience must be in Cost Accounting.
• Strong ERP/systems exposure, to implementation level (Oracle preferred) as well as excellent technical exposure to all areas of project cost accounting within MRO and complex inventories.
• Must be from a recognized aerospace MRO background.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent, though professional certifications such as CPA/CMA/MBA is a must.
• At least 10 years in a related field with at least 4/5 years experience in a similar position in an investment bank in the GCC, with relevant exposure to Private Banking, Wealth Management and Brokerage in addition to Assets Management and Funds.
